PS She did all this while we thought she was upstairs going to sleep. Much better than the time she emptied her entire dresser out into her crib while she was supposed to be going to sleep.......

Our Baby's Walking!

So it only took him 17 months, but Jacob is now officially a walker! In the previous video of him attempting to stand and walk a month ago, he was just starting to get his bearings. We realized he was able to walk if he so chose, but he wasn't ready to make a go of it.



Last Monday, I guess he woke up and thought, "You know? I've been crawling for quite some time now. I've mastered the speed crawl. I think I'll walk now instead." And that's just what he's done ever since! I put this video together of Jacob just being his sweet self, and it includes his master walking skilz. Enjoy!

Lily on the Phone

Took this video of Lily on the phone at her grandparents' house about a month ago. It is hysterical. I laugh every time I watch it. I love the blinking eyes as she's talking, and her enthusiasm, and her little pigtails swishing around.

I love that she says hi to Jonah ("I talkin' to Jonah!"), Bob, Larry, Snuffy, Bib Bird, and Elmo before saying buh-bye. I knew the minute I captured this moment on film, it would be one of my favorite moments ever. Enjoy!

Jacob Learning to Walk - 1 Month Ago

At 16 months, Jacob took his first steps - 5 whole months after he started crawling (which then transitioned to speed crawling). Seems he had to first learn how to stand up unassisted, like in the video below, before convincing himself he should try to walk. He's a very cautious one, that Jacob.
