Last year, Jacob was juuuuust taller than Lily. This year, he is taller AND heavier. I can't believe he's in the 81st percentile for height, because he doesn't FEEL tall - except for when he stands next to other kids his age ;) Our baby chubster, Sam (who was over 10lb at birth and had the world's best rolls!), has slimmed way down into the 44th percentile for weight and up into the 58th for height.
But the BIGGEST surprise was that 3-year-old Caleb now officially weighs MORE than his 5-year-old brother, Elliot. This should come as no surprise since Caleb is the best.eater.ever, and Elliot still lives on air, carbs, and dairy. Oy... He continues to be at the bottom of his growth charts for height and weight, yet despite the overall lack of eating, he remains on his own steady curve, and the doctors are happy. Fortunately, we live in America where everything is fortified, so he is healthy despite his [aggravating!] lack of variety.
We are so thankful for all these healthy, growing kids. And thankful that they all passed their vision tests again this year - anther bullet dodged by their two, four-eyed folks!
